Vintage Flush Mount Porcelain Ceiling Light Fixture

This beautiful antique porcelain ceiling light fixture with uranium glass glaze features a classic 1930s design. The unique finish found in the piece's glazing is often called uranium glass or Vaseline glass. The glaze gained popularity in the late 19th century and continued into the 20th century. It gets its name because it contains small amounts of uranium oxide, which gives the glass a characteristic yellow or greenish-yellow glow under ultraviolet (UV) light. The fixture has been restored and features new wiring, sockets, etc. It has been cleaned and detailed and is ready to install.

Measurements: The fixture is 10 1/4 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 3 1/4 inches tall (not including the height of the bulbs.)

Condition: The fixture features new porcelain sockets, a mounting bracket, wires, wire sheathing, a finial, and installation hardware. It is in good condition but shows its antiquity with inconsistencies, including a small nick in the socket ring, age spots, and other minor inconsistencies.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base socket. Use 60-watt bulbs. The bulbs are not included. Suitable for dry locations.
