Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture Vintage Glass Shade New Pan Fixture
$ 129.99
Flush mount light fixtures were popular in postwar housing design because of their ability to deliver ambient light while staying unobtrusive in their appearance. It's a good thing, too, because ceiling heights became more standardized and, more often than not, lower in height due to the post-war housing boom. While mid-century flush mount light fixtures fell out of favor in the 1970s and 1980s, they have recently made a comeback as part of the retro and vintage design trends.
The reverse enameled shade features a new provincial bronze pan fixture and mounting hardware. The fixture has been cleaned and detailed and is ready to install for your convenience.
Measurements: The fixture measures 4 1/4 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide.
Condition: The fixture features a new satin nickel pan fixture and a vintage glass shade. The shade is in good vintage condition and shows its antiquity with minor inconsistencies, including pinholes in the white enameled finish.
Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base socket. Use a 60-watt bulb. Bulb not included. Suitable for damp locations.
