Vintage J. & P. Coats 5-Drawer Thread Display Cabinet

Step back into the golden age of sewing with this authentic vintage J. & P. Coats mercerized cotton thread display cabinet. Once a staple on the counters of general stores and sewing shops, this five-drawer metal case with its original slanted glass front was designed to organize and showcase colorful spools of Coats thread.

Measurements: 15 1/8 inches wide × 10 1/4 inches tall × 13 1/4 inches deep

Condition: This cabinet shows its age with honest wear. There is a dent on the top left side and another on the lid near the handle. Scuffs, scratches, paint specks. Areas of surface rust are visible throughout, particularly on the left side and beneath the drawers. The glass is intact with only light scratches, and all five drawers open and close properly. The piece has been carefully cleaned, oiled, and waxed for preservation.
