Vintage Semi-Flush Beaded Chain Ceiling Light Fixture
The semi-flush triple-beaded chain ceiling light fixture emerged with its earliest iterations in the 1920s through the 1940s. Triple-beaded chain fixtures of this period featured bold patterns and almost always had enameled finishes in pinks, blues, greens, whites, or bisque colors. The trend continued into the 1960s with less heavy-looking glass shades and silk-screened enameled finishes instead of the hand-painted enameled finish.
The fixture features a freshly enameled painted aluminum fixture with new wires and a porcelain socket. The fixture has been cleaned and detailed. It includes mounting hardware for convenient installation.
Measurements: The fixture measures 10 7/8 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches tall.
Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wires, wire sheathing, mounting bracket, nickel thumb nuts, nickel beaded chain, antique linen white enameled finish, and installation hardware. The vintage fixture base has minor finish inconsistencies in the enameled paint inside the rolled aluminum edge. The glass shows its antiquity with some wear and scratches in the blue enamel and minor chips and fleabites on the edges.
Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb. Use a 60-watt bulb. Suitable for dry locations.
